The middle panel of the triptych is finished lengthwise above in trilobite. The side panels are in communion with this finishing. In the middle panel: The Crucifixion; Christ on the cross that is erected frontal with a kneeling Mary Magdalen between Mary and Saint John. On the middle panel, the peacefully dying good murderer and the contortedly writhing bad murderer are also depicted. Longinus is also rendered in his suit of armor on horseback. On the side panels: two previous images of the crucifixion.
